Brief History

Skimpo Agribusiness Solutions was established by Sinawo Mzinga in 2018, amid the historic Listeria monocytogenes outbreak in South Africa which affected the cold meats subsector. The whole drive into the business was the knowledge and experience Sinawo had in controlling pathogen contamination.  A few other incidents happened were a group of school children from the Eastern Cape were hospitalized after consuming contaminated milk from the school’s feeding scheme. These incidents made it clear that there is a lack of understanding and experience as far as food safety is concerned.

Skimpo has since been tentatively operating in the background, helping a number of giant companies with implementation, maintenance and improvement of their Food Safety and Quality Systems. 

Our standards of specializations include BRCGS, FSSC 22000,ISO 22000, ISO 9001, SANS 10330, SANS 10049. We are also experts of the additional voluntary modules like FSMA and COSTCO.
