Auditing

Internal Audit

We audit your facilities based on the Food Safety or Quality standards implemented (BRCGS/ FSSC 22000 or ISO 9001). The internal audits are preferably conducted on site than virtual. This service is fully independent and impartial. The results thereof are not influenced by the Management Team of the business. Voluntary modules like COSTCO and FSMA may be added as required by the client. On completion of the audit, a concise report will be generated to give an overview of the system.

Audit Preparedness

Our audit preparedness session is much similar to that of the internal audit, and has more in-depth document review. This process generally has no report.

In-audit Support

Is a back up support we provide to clients who have contracted their internal audit to Skimpo. This service is offered virtually but if the client wants our team on site on the days of the certification audit, that can also be arranged.

Post Audit Support

This service is meant to assist the client with conducting the root cause analysis for the nonconformities raised during the certification audit, suggest correction and corrective actions. This avoids the back and forth communication of NCs that are not sufficiently addressed.

Supplier Assurance Programme

Our supplier audits are based on the elements of HACCP and Prerequisite Programmes, taking into consideration some requirements of the GFSI like Food Defence and Food Fraud. A client may also suggest other main focus points they want to understand about the supplier relating to food safety or Quality. Supplier Quality Assurance Programme. This program includes supplier audits, updating of supplier documentation, communication of nonconformances and corrective actions, and supplier evaluations.
